In June 2025 Forbes Magazine published an Accessibility 100 List.

The idea was to highlight leaders in the disability community, but there were a lot of corporations included, and a lot of people who, while allies, were not disabled themselves. It got me to thinking that I wanted to highlight all of the amazing people in the community who are disabled but still are making things happen. That is how this website was born.
