Jillian Curwin

I learned about Jillian Curwin through a friend who is very much into the Peloton exercise platform. Jillian has done a lot of work with Peloton to try to make it more accessible, and she herself has built up her fitness.

The real magic of Jillian, however, is her podcast, which is called Always Looking Up. Over the course of her podcast, which Jillian recently mentioned is approaching 200 episodes, she reaches out to people in the disability community from a dizzying array of backgrounds. Her messages are always motivational and positive, even when talking about hard things, which certainly happens a lot in the disability community, especially now. I highly encourage everyone to discover the people she has talked to.

As for Jillian herself, she has dwarfism, which is where the title of her podcast comes from. She always likes to remind her audience that “height is just a number.
