Announcing my first speaking gig!

February 28, 2012 by Margie Clayman 25 Comments

Hello!

I am very excited to announce that I will be one of the speakers at the 140Conference Montreal event in May! This will be my first official speaking engagement and I have to say that I am really looking forward to it. I am only slightly scared out of my pants that great people like Mitch Joel and Ric Dragon will also be speaking there 🙂

I’m truly honored and delighted that Mila Araujo asked me to come as a speaker, and I’m hoping I can meet many of you there as well. You WILL come, right? If you want to, register now, cuz Mila is doing a great job of enticing people to come see her and her city 🙂

Now, I just need to learn some French!

All I have to say is….that milaspage is one very smart woman!!  She recognizes awesomeness when she sees it!  You are going to be terrific @margieclayman   I completely agree with @mikestenger ….one of my favorite things about reading your posts is that (while I have not had the pleasure of meeting you IRL) you write like I would imagine you speak…it’s what makes reading your blog so “comfortable”…it’s more like having a conversation than reading text.   That said, I’m guessing the transition to speaking will be a no brainer for you (nervousness not withstanding)
    So happy for you Margie!!
